So you are making a presentation, and you need to determine what size screen will work best for you. Our first recommendation would be to speak with one of our consultants regarding your needs. However, if you want to get a head start, there is a good rule of thumb to go by. To calculate the maximum viewing distance from the screen, use seven times the screen width to get your distance. So, an eight foot screen will be visible from a maximum of 56 feet. Knowing the space you have to work with will help you make a determination as to the necessary screen size. And also be sure that you are using an LCD projector that has enough lumen (light) output to accommodate the environment you will be presenting in. |
